Activity 2: Developing an interview checklist for sustainability strategy analysis
- Universal strategy formulation model (PPT)
- Learners focus on the Universal strategy formulation model. They also conduct research on the economic, environmental and social variables of sustainability. They then bring their research to the session and in small groups analyze their work
- This activity has significant pre-work in the form of research
- This activity requires 10 minute set-up of the pre-work instructions, about 2 - 5 hours of research by the individual learners, then 50 minutes of the activity to share research themes and do some analysis

Activity 2: Developing an interview checklist for sustainability strategy analysis
- This activity primarily consists of using the seven elements of the Universal sustainability model by developing lists of interview questions one would use if engaged in a consulting assignment to interview an organization about its sustainability strategy
- This activity takes 50 minutes
